The evaluation component of the CMMI model aims to provide a high degree of automation in the generation of the PIID document -Practice Implementation Indicator Description-, built as part of an evaluation.
The construction of the PIID is a step that all companies should take before performing a
SCAMPI assessment, a construction that consumes large amounts of time and resources. The intention is to achieve the development of an evaluation system -which takes the
SCAMPI method as a reference- that builds the PIID document, with a high degree of automation, from the artifacts generated during the execution of projects to be evaluated and from a series of business rules previously established by the company.
